Happy Monday Everyone...Students and Parents OF 703 & 704

Welcome  to a new experience in remote learning. I hope that you and your family are well and are ready to take this adventure together.  Since, your ELA notebooks are not available to you our resources and material will be online.  It is important that you read all instructions carefully for full understanding.

First things first, to make sure YOU have access to receive/send YOUR assignments please do the following:

1) LOG INTO PUPIL PATH and send me an email. This is were you will be getting your daily assignments and further instructions for upcoming lessons.
  • Your parent/guardian was sent via text message  (3/19/2020) a copy of the invitation.  At the bottom in BOLD  LETTERS is your OSIS # AND  REGISTRATION CODE to set it up if you have not already.  
  • I will respond to your email when it is received.
2) DOWN LOAD THE ZOOM APP (from Apple App Store or the Android Play Store) This is were we (and other teachers) will connect in a virtual/face time classroom, get visual instructions and chat with me live.   WE MUST HAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND AN INVITE!!!  Send your email address to me through Pupil Path. 
  • The schedule class time is as follows:
    • 703    MON/WED/TH/FRI-11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.,  TUES-1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
    • 704.   MON-FRI 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. 
  • If there is a change in scheduling you will be notified via this Blogspot and Pupil Path.  
3) LOG INTO LIGHTSAIL.  This is were you will have Strategic Reading twice a week, Mondays and Tuesday.  We would like students to log into Lightsail and make sure they can access the site.

You can find details in PUPIL PATH.  Respond in PUPIL PATH and let me know any problems you run into i.e password reset. 

While reading you MUST create three thoughts and respond to the Response questions when given.  Use the reading strategies you have always used to response:  RACE.  An 'IDK" response will result in a poor/failing grade.

It is important that you check into this BLOG everyday to keep up with your assignments.  REMEMBER...All assignments will be posted DAILY on PUPIL PATH.  We are now preparing for Grade 8...LET'S GO.... YOU GOT THIS!!!  WE GOT THIS!!!
